Individual Coaching Approach

Even though each coaching engagement is unique, our coaching process follows the steps below:

  • Phase I Assessment We start with one or more assessments to help identify the individual’s strengths and areas for improvement. Various tools include the Coachability@Work Assessment,  a verbal 360° assessment, and The Leader’s Dashboard.
  • Phase II Design Solutions The assessment information is reviewed with the client to understand current strengths and development needs. Next the coach and the client discuss where the client wants to go. Goals for the coaching relationship are set, and the coaching plan is created.
  • Phase III Implementation  Coaching and tracking results typically lasts for six months. After six months, progress is reviewed with the client to determine if goals have been met and whether to move forward with further coaching. Three months after the coaching engagement has concluded, we return to make sure there is sustainable change, or if further coaching is needed.
